Last night I did a Korean Food Tour, as in, a food tour for a group of Koreans! I normally limit my tours to 4 people max, but I received a booking from 5 Korean friends who were coming to Da Nang on a golf holiday, so I was happy to take them all out in one tour. Then just before the tour, I got another request from a single, Korean woman, asking if she could join the evening tour. Turns she had met the golf group on her flight from Seoul, so everyone was already friends before we got started. So there we were, 6 Koreans and myself, walking from local spot to local spot around the beach side of Da Nang.
Koreans have a well-earned reputation for being strong drinkers, and these guys didn’t disappoint. They also took a turn manning the grill at a chicken spot, and Mr Moon took a break from eating to lift some weights in the quan nhau. What a night!
